Following last week’s Minato Festival 2023, the “Minna DE Festival” sponsored by the “Community Optimum Welfare Management Unit Kanagawa” was held at Sorimachi Park on November 12th. This year will be the 24th time.<\/p>\n

It was also featured in Town News<\/a><\/p>\n

I wonder if it will be held?<\/h4>\n

The event will be held at Sorimachi Park with 17 participating organizations. The day before, the secretariat, concerned about the weather, informed us that a decision would be made on whether to hold the event at 7 a.m. on the day of the event. It was raining lightly at 7am, but there was no contact. This is a last-minute decision made by the secretariat.

\nIt was raining lightly until around 9 o’clock, but the rain stopped around 10 o’clock. The secretariat’s last-minute decision was the correct one…<\/p>\n

Many participants despite the cold weather<\/h4>\n

The weather was not good and it was cold, but it was more lively than I expected. There are many food and drink booths, and the meat bun booth sells out quickly. Many people visit our booth because they can win prizes at the Star Rally.

Kanagawa Ward Multicultural Coexistence Association<\/h4>\n

The booth of the Kanagawa Multicultural Coexistence Association, which I attended for the first time, was a flea market. In order for foreigners to connect with the local community, I thought it would be great to set up an “oden booth” with foreign owners such as curry shops and Japanese language classes.
