The Kanagawa Ward Multicultural Lounge not only provides living information and counseling to foreign residents in multiple languages, but also holds Japanese language classes to promote local multicultural coexistence, plans and manages events, etc. It is a base for multicultural coexistence that connects foreign residents and the local community, and trains children and young people with connections to other countries.

The Kanagawa Ward Multicultural Lounge is recruiting a variety of volunteers. Volunteers working at the lounge include lounge management volunteers, Japanese language class volunteers, learning support volunteers for elementary and junior high school students whose native language is not Japanese. We also introduce information on courses and events.
