Lounge Terms of Use
The Kanagawa Ward International Lounge can be used free of charge by organizations that carry out voluntary activities related to multicultural coexistence within Yokohama City.
※Registration is required in advance.
※It cannot be used for political, religious, or commercial activities.
※Groups and individuals who engage in activities that violate public order and morals cannot use the service.
※If you engage in any behavior that violates public order and morals within the lounge, you will be asked to leave.
※The meeting corner and kids space can also be used by individuals. No registration required.

※Activities that make loud noises, such as dancing, gymnastics, playing musical instruments, and singing in chorus, are not allowed.
※Activities that involve eating and drinking are not permitted (food and drinks are allowed in the lounge).
Use by group registration
Applications for use of the multipurpose room will be accepted by telephone, at the counter, by email, or via the inquiry form on the website (on a first-come, first-served basis) from the same day three months prior to the desired date of use.
※Priority reservations can be made for ongoing projects (Japanese language/learning support for foreigners, and continuous courses).
※Regarding the reception of priority reservations, restrictions will be set in order to secure a certain level of general reservation slots.
※Reservations can be made in hourly increments.
※Reservations can be made for up to 8 hours per group per week.
※Closed: Wednesdays and New Year holidays (December 29th to January 3rd)

Group registration requirements
（１）Organizations in Yokohama City that carry out activities related to multicultural coexistence, or organizations in Yokohama City that plan and manage events related to multicultural coexistence at lounges.
（２）Organizations approved by the Mayor of Kanagawa Ward
（３）Must agree with the purpose of establishing the lounge and be able to cooperate with lounge activities.
（４）The actual number of members involved in management is 3 or more.

Once the submitted content has been carefully reviewed and approved by Kanagawa Ward, the content will be published on the website. Please let us know if there are any changes to the content. Additionally, if you have any information, such as your email address, that you do not wish to disclose, please contact the lounge.

Activities in the lounge
It is necessary to apply for use of each item specified below and obtain approval from Kanagawa City.

・Purpose: (Example) Provide support for foreigners to learn Japanese

・Date and time: (Example) Every Monday from 9:30 to 15:00
・Collection fee: (Example) Free
About group registration certificate
・Once the group registration is approved, a group registration certificate will be issued (valid for three years after the end of the fiscal year).
・Please present your group registration card when using the locker.
About rental rules
Registered groups can receive priority reservations for the multipurpose room in the Kanagawa Multicultural Lounge. However, when using the facilities, it is necessary to carry out activities in accordance with the purpose of use determined by the facility.
（１）The fees collected in the usage application must be deemed to be less than the amount equivalent to the actual expenses.
（２）Use of Equipment and Facilities: Appropriate handling of equipment and facilities within the rental facility is required.
（３）If the damage is caused by intentional or negligent actions, you will be responsible for the repair costs.
（４）The facility assumes no responsibility for the actions of users or the management of valuables.
（５）Users must agree to use the facility at their own risk.
（６）The facility can cancel the use of the multipurpose room if the purpose of use is not appropriate for a public facility (for-profit purposes, etc.).
（７）The facility can cancel the group’s registration if the registered group’s behavior is inappropriate (such as behavior that violates public order and morals).
